این کلبه سوئیسی بدون اتاق خواب در مجاورت چند کلبه دیگر با فاصله چند قدمی از سورتمه و ایستگاه تله کابین در شهرک نمک آبرود واقع شده است که تا شهر چالوس حدود 16 کیلومتر فاصله دارد.
کلبه دارای سالن پذیرایی، تخت خواب، حمام با سرویس فرنگی می باشد، لازم به ذکر است کلبه فاقد آشپزخانه و امکانات پخت و پز می باشد و امکانات هتلی از قبیل چای ساز، یخچال و پک بهداشتی برای رفاه حال مهمانان تعبیه شده است.
محوطه اطراف کلبه از چهارطرف با دیوار محصور شده و نگهبان بصورت 24 ساعته در محوطه شهرک مستقر است، همچنین به جهت تامین امنیت بیشتر دروازه ورودی و محوطه مجهز به دوربین مداربسته می باشد.
مهمانان گرامی می توانند برای تهیه مایحتاج روزانه خود از سوپرمارکت و نانوایی در فاصله حدود 200 متری اقامتگاه استفاده نمایند.
